Accepting and managing the assignment

Once we accept an assignment, we proceed quickly and carefully. When managing an assignment, we ask ourselves the following:

• For whom is the text intended? What is the target group?
• What message does the client want to send?
• What tone of voice is required?
• Is there a terminology list?
• Is there a house style that has to be incorporated?
• What specific discipline is required?

 

Finding the right translator

When we have this information we go to work. We have an extensive network of committed, qualified translators in all disciplines and languages. Because we have been working with them for many years we know most translators personally and are aware of their expertise and passion.

We will always try and find the most suitable translator for the assignment. We brief this translator extensively based on our inquiries about the assignment.

The translator then starts working. Depending on the assignment, sometimes translation tools are used.

Delivery

Each translation is carefully checked for grammar, style and completeness. We ensure that the translation is delivered to the client on time and on the agreed date.

Aftwerwards we check whether everything was handled according to what the client wanted. We do everything we can to ensure 100% client satisfaction.

We only send the invoice for the work after this process is completed.

Privacy and confidentiality

We translate many legal texts and see confidential documents from, among others, lawyers and civil-law notaries on a daily basis. This also applies to important financial information that is, for example, under embargo. We and the parties we work with handle these texts discreetly and confidentially.

Our translators are bound by contract to our strict requirements for confidentiality. At your request we can send you a signed confidentiality statement in advance.
