In consulting about and executing your translations we ask your personal data so we can provide the best service possible. We handle these data with care and keep these safe. In handling personal data TRANSLATIONS complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We use your personal data to execute the agreed work in the best way possible. We only store the personal data of our regular customers in a multi-language databases to record the terminology for those customers.
Sometimes we have to store the data to comply with certain legal obligations.
When we receive an assignment we ask for your data by telephone or by e-mail.
The TRANSLATIONS website uses Google Analytics. The settings for this program are rendered anonymous so no cookie pop-up is required. We do not share these anonymous data with anyone.
In some cases we have to share your data with third parties, such as courts, translators or interpreters. This can be required for sworn translations, apostilles or authentications. In those cases yiur data are required for the execution of the assignment.
We shall only store your data as long as required for the execution of the above assignments. In some cases there is a statutory obligation to store certain data for a longer period, for instance under tax or civil legislation.
We keep personal data under lock and key or, in case of digital storage, password-protected. Only those members of staff immediately involved in the assignment have access to these data. Our staff members have all signed a confidentiality agreement.
Everyone is entitled to access his or her personal data and to have these data altered or removed if these are no longer accurate.
